Justin Hazard's leadoff home run in the 7th broke a 2-2 tie, and James Kaprielian shut down Pacifica over the final 2-2/3 to close out a 3-2 season-opening victory. Tyler Carso allowed just two runs and five hits in his 4-1/3 innings. Hazard added an RBI double, and Ricky Navarro was also 2 for 4 on the day.

The Patriots came up with another late inning rally to best the Wolves 4-3.
- March 9 v Arlington
Zack Rivera's home run was the key blow in a four run sixth inning as the comeback kids pulled out another thrilling win. James Kaprielian shut down the Lions over the last four batters, striking out three and not allowing a hit. Grant Barring also pitched two innings without allowing an earned run.
